Dies the man that put Barcelona in the map

Yesterday, 21st of April, Juan Antonio Samaranch died. My biased judgement is that he wrote a black book with only two golden pages:
1) He turned the IOC into a political and business machine. The games at Seoul, the "Coca-cola games at Atlanta", the games in China (postponed due to the scandalous Sydney's designation).
2) He put my loved Barcelona in the map. It was not the opportunity to transform the city, but the fact that hundreds of millions of people discovered Barcelona the main consequence of the 1992 games.

However, I think the global judgment differs from mine as shown when his former colleagues didn't support his last will of making Madrid a olympic city (choosing Sao Paolo for the 2016 games).
